Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo has revealed that he broke down in tears on Friday, November 15th following the dismissal of the alleged rape case against him involving Busola Dakolo.
On Thursday, Nigerians were greeted with the news that a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Court 12, sitting at Bwari, Abuja, on Thursday, November 14th, had dismissed the case filed by Busola Dakolo against him.
This morning while in church, Fatoyinbo, sang about how God saw him through it all and how he experienced God’s mercy through it all.
It should be recall that this flamboyant Pastor has stepped aside from his church after a celebrity photographer accused him of raping Busola Dakolo twice before she turned 18.
Biodun Fatoyinbo denied the allegation by Busola Dakolo, who is married to popular musician Timi Dakolo.
He said he was taking “leave of absence from the pulpit” because it was the “right thing to do”.
Ms Dakolo’s allegation went viral on social media, with some saying it had triggered Nigeria’s #MeToo moment.
The social media campaign has led to thousands of people sharing their stories of sexual abuse and harassment since 2017.
