Ifeanyi Adefarasin doesn’t need much introduction. Not only is she a pastor in House on the Rock Church alongside her husband, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, but she is also the initiator of several empowerment initiatives that have contributed immensely to the lives of many.
Headquartered in Lagos, House on the Rock is on the list of mega churches catering to the spiritual welfare of thousands, if not millions, of worshippers in Nigeria and beyond. However, the church is most famous for organising the annual gospel music concert known as The Experience. The Experience is the world’s largest gospel concert featuring local and international artists. Every year since 2006, The Experience, Lagos, continues to enrich the lives of thousands of people who attend the event physically or, in more recent times, virtually.
Ifeanyi Adefarasin once emerged as a beauty queen during her days at the University of Lagos. Also known as the W2W, this initiative creates impact through its prison and orphanage outreaches and donations, among others. She is also the founder of the annual event, Family Funday, aimed at creating healthier and lasting familial bonds.
No doubt, marking 50 years on earth calls for a celebration of her life and thankfulness for her continued existence. Beginning on social media, Ifeanyi Adefarasin shared some beautiful photos of herself. She appreciated God, acknowledged the impact of numerous people in her life, and celebrated her husband’s commitment and love toward their life together. Hundreds of people, including gospel ministers, equally poured in their felicitations.
In a short video, her husband shared how much of a blessing she has been to him and several others since he met her thirty years ago. He stated that they have been married for twenty-seven of those thirty years, and she has evolved over the decades to become a global icon. Paul Adefarasin described his wife as magnetic. He applauded her for what he called her ‘up-to-heaven graces yet down-to-earth anointing’ while also mentioning that she epitomises the beautiful qualities without strain.
To celebrate her remarkable new age, the charismatic preacher declared three days of festivities to mark Ifeanyi’s ascent to her fifth decade on earth. Celebrations kicked off from her birthday on Friday, September 16th to Sunday, September 18th, 2022. The festivities began with a thanksgiving service held that day, then melded into an all-women celebration on Saturday and culminated in a Sunday Celebration service.
Known for her beauty, grace, eloquence, and impeccable fashion sense, Ifeanyi did not fail to look as resplendent as ever throughout the celebrations. Her excitement and joy shone through in how she laughed, danced, and rejoiced.
